Catapulted by their debut LP in 2022, MARBLE continues to turn heads with a sound that is entirely theirs. Since its release, MARBLE have frequented countless major cities on several tours, delivering a raw and captivating stage performance from Vancouver, BC to Tucson, AZ. Their dynamic and unforgettable shows leave fans screaming, "I can't get it out of my head".

The songs on MARBLE's upcoming EP represent the artistry of the band as a collective. Produced & mixed by Andy D. Park (Deftones, Death Cab for Cutie, Deep Sea Diver) & mastered by Greg Calbi & Steve Fallone (The Strokes, Briston Maroney, Metric, St. Vincent), this EP is the first to be recorded by the full band, live and in-studio. The lyrics cut deeper, the instrumentation burns brighter, and the melodies are earworms that you'll remember until you play them again. These songs will carry you from bubblegum inspired dreamo like their contemporaries Pool Kids & Sweet Pill, to stadium rock hooks like that of Mitski & Paramore.

MARBLE are a bi-city band based in Seattle and Portland.

smile at strangers

new single, “oblivion”

oblivion

released 1.26.2024

our debut LP ~the shadow in me~ was recorded before we got this band together, in our dank studio basement, during covid… when we were sad and lonely and v scared of germs.

when we recorded ~oblivion~, we finally got our first recording experience as a full band. we worked with a kickass producer, recorded for the first time at a legendary Seattle studio called Studio Litho. which is arguably the coolest studio in Seattle. you can try to convince us otherwise, but I’d say the platinum soundgarden record hanging in the bathroom speaks for itself.

we poured our hearts and souls into making this song come alive. It’s for those of us that feel forgotten, invisible, unknown, even (maybe especially) when surrounded by our closest friends.

this is our love letter to the lonely hearts club. to our younger and older selves. to the long hairs and the buzzed heads, and the people who don’t fit into any clean, stupid little box. to the servers that scream in their car on their way to work. and to the strangers on the internet who find our gloomy music cathartic.

»»maybe this time I’ll fall into oblivion»»

our new track ༒oblivion༒ is out everywhere. now it’s yours ㋛

At the core of Marble is a working collaboration that gifts prolific musical gems. It’s no secret that we’ve got them near the top of our list of buzz bands to watch. It’s the combination of superb songwriting and enigmatic star power that is frontwoman Chantel Bailey. With modest intention she doesn’t demand your attention, she just gets it. A combination of undeniable talent and rare fiery beauty, she’s a treasure of mystery and curious appeal. In unison with Mathew Blount, the duo create rich sonic atmospheres that scan a wide spectrum in rock.

Altogether, they’re building a collection that shows versatility and breadth of influence. The eclectic presentation creates a cinematic live experience, one big auditory trip of whiplash emotion and affect.

Emma Ruth Rundle and Chelsea Wolfe are the pinnacle of the Goth-rock scene in our opinion. Whether it is through a metal starkness or a calm but sinister broodiness, they consistently devour us with brilliant artistry and sensational songwriting.

Now an under-the-radar band from Seattle is set to join them. Their name is MARBLE, who likewise dive to the depths of their souls to deliver songs that make our skins crawl. Do not, however, hide under the covers. Instead, open your arms and embrace [their] startling work.

I probably would do a horrible job in describing the sound that is crafted by songwriter / guitarist Bailey and her musical partner Matthew Blount (who can make his guitar wail, cry and sound otherwordly) but suffice it to say, this isn’t for the weak of heart. As I escape into the huge bass drops, a grand rock beat and ethereal scuffed up heaviness that holds up Bailey’s quivering powerful vocals, deeply resonant and bruised that feels like an artful amalgam of emotionally deep singers like Florence Welch, PJ Harvey and Dolores O’Riordan (R.I.P.) I find myself pushing play over and over again
